Creative Wellbeing Facilitator Training

Live Online /TBA

Welcome home to your creative wisdom.

Through the expressive arts, the Creative Wellbeing curriculum visits the hallmarks of human flourishing

(cultivating gratitude, forgiveness, flow, connection, resilience and more),

as lived, embodied experiences.

  • The research is clear, creative self-expression supports

  • emotional balance,

  • strengthens the body

  • and restores connection.

  • Refined through years of study and practice in university and community settings by award-winning educator Sybil St. Claire, M.F.A.

No artistic expertise required.

Only a willingness to enter the circle.

It’s not about being good at art. It’s about art being good for us.

  • Creative Wellbeing blends the expressive arts, positive psychology, neuroscience into a lived experience where art leads and science affirms.

We are invited to consider facilitation an act of presence that involves empathy, deep listening, bearing witness, transparency, attunement, and positive regard. From there, the journey unfolds through a series of playshops that explore Positive Psychology’s “pillars of happiness and wellbeing,” reminding participants that the medicine they seek is already within.

  • Creative Wellbeing: An Expressive Arts Journey into the Heart of Human Flourishing

    A Live Online | Synchronous | Cohort-Based Training

Blending the expressive arts and positive psychology, Creative Wellbeing offers an evidence-based yet deeply human pathway into flourishing - one that is both facilitator-ready and profoundly personal.

Grounded in Positive Psychology’s “pillars of happiness and wellbeing” (Positive Emotion, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, and beyond), each playshop invites us to paint, move, write, and reflect – strengthening resilience, reducing anxiety, sparking creativity, and deepening agency and authentic connection.

You won’t simply learn about the work - you will enter it, experiencing the playshops from within then exploring the architecture beneath.

  • Creative Wellbeing is an arts-based, science-backed invitation to thrive!

This powerful curriculum blends the expressive arts (movement, image, story, and sound) and applied positive psychology. Rather than teaching happiness or wellbeing as a concept, it invites participants to experience it creatively, physically, and relationally.t engages the whole person - mind, body, imagination, and heart.

At its core is the belief that we already carry what we need. This practice does not prescribe healing from the outside in. It helps us remember our resilience, reclaim our creativity, and reconnect with our capacity to thrive.

We are living through a global mental health crisis. At the same time, research - including a major World Health Organization review - confirms what many of us feel intuitively: the arts are not a luxury. They are medicine.

Creative Wellbeing offers a timely invitation, not just to feel better, but to flourish.

Each playshop is a portal - inviting you home.

Blending the expressive arts with the science of human flourishing, the Creative Wellbeing certification

guides participants through a deeply participatory experience grounded in the PERMA+ model of human flourishing.

With every playshop, we’re not just learning about wellbeing, we’re practicing it.

Whether used in education, retreats, places of worship, healthcare, or as personal journey,

this practice meets the moment we’re in with tools that restore connection, increase resilience, and awaken happiness.

At its heart is the reminder that we already carry our own medicine; the practices in these pages simply awaken it.
