"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful people can change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

As a Theatre for Social Change practitioner I have always believed that the very best any of us can hope for is that it mattered that we were here. For me “mattering” is defined by my ability to share transformative, uplifting, and, empowering experiences with others. It is why I teach; it is why I create.

This roots my work in service to others and my experience runs the gamut from theatre for the deaf, and LGBTQ agitprop theatre to utilizing theatre as a therapeutic modality with the terminally ill, children in foster care, and rape survivors. As a theatre for social change practitioner, I strive to co-create liberatory environments focused on love and peace-building as we explore what it means to "have the courage to be happy."

Though diverse, my work shares a unifying thread, that of empowering others to live their best lives. When we lift others up, lend a hand, share a smile, and create environments where growth is not just possible but probable, when we give freely simply because it matters - we matter.
